A Glimpse Into My Artistic I.

Here is a little bit about me :)

My name is Samer Alam. I live in Anaheim, Ca. My love for photography was born when I was 12 years old. I was that kid who runs around taking pictures of friends and family using my dad’s Nikon. At 16, I met a photographer who helped me hone my skills on a more professional level (Mohannad Kassab). This is when I learned more about good lighting, correct angles, and overall composition. I bought my first Nikon digital camera when I turned 19 and have been taking photos professionally ever since. I currently use Sony A7IV & Sony A7R V body with the following lenses:

Tamron 35-150mm (F2-2.8), Sony G Master II 24-70mm (F2.8), Sony G Master 135mm (F1.8), Sony G Master 50mm (F1.4)

On top of my own experience with photography, I also took formal courses at Cypress College just so I could sharpen my skills. I love doing wedding photography and being the person to capture the love of two people is a most fulfilling experience. I am also well-versed in photographing engagement parties, bridal showers, baby showers, cars, food, etc… My passion for photography shows in my work. I am originally from Damascus, Syria. Born in 1994, At the age of 20, I moved to New York and shortly thereafter I came to Los Angeles.

I LOVE the beach, Cars, embarking on spontaneous long drives and adventures. Did I mention that traveling is one of my favorite hobbies? I have traveled all over Syria, and been to Lebanon, NY, etc.…
